How to verify an AI automation agency.
Vetting a new agency is smart — you should, including us. Below is a checklist that works on any agency, then exactly how to verify Cannatract. We don't post testimonials you can't check; we point you at sources you can.
Six checks that work on any agency
Run these before you sign anything — with us or with anyone else. An agency that answers all six directly is a materially safer bet than one that answers in buzzwords.
- 01
Confirm the business actually exists
Look for a verified Google Business Profile, a real street address, a published phone number that a human answers, and named team members with traceable histories. An agency that is only a landing page and a Calendly link is a risk regardless of how good the copy is.
- 02
Ask to speak to a current client
Not a written testimonial — an actual conversation. Any agency doing real work has at least one client willing to spend ten minutes on a call. Refusal, or an endless stream of unverifiable quotes instead, tells you what you need to know.
- 03
Ask who owns the accounts, data, and code
The answer should be: you do. If the automations live in the agency's accounts, or the code is 'proprietary' and non-portable, you are renting a system you cannot leave. Get the answer in writing before signing.
- 04
Get a fixed scope and a fixed price
Open-ended hourly work on automation projects is where budgets disappear. A competent agency can scope a first workflow precisely after a short discovery and quote it before starting.
- 05
Ask what happens when an integration breaks
Every automation eventually breaks — an API changes, a credential expires. Ask specifically how it is monitored, who gets alerted, and whether fixes are included. Vague answers here predict month-three abandonment.
- 06
Treat review sites with appropriate suspicion
Anonymous five-star quotes on an agency's own site prove nothing — anyone can write them. Weight verifiable sources higher: Google profiles tied to real accounts, named references you can call, and published work you can read and judge for yourself.
Google Business Profile
Our verified Google profile is the primary place to read client reviews and confirm we are a real, established Nevada business.
View our Google profile →Talk to a reference
Ask during your free audit and we will connect you with a client in a similar situation to yours. Real conversations beat anonymous star ratings.
Request a reference →Why we do trust this way
The internet is full of agencies with pages of glowing, unverifiable quotes. We think that erodes trust rather than building it. So we keep it simple: verifiable proof, real references, and work you fully own and can take anywhere.
If you have worked with us, a quick, honest Google review — good or critical — helps other Nevada businesses make the same call you did.
